April is National Autism Awareness Month (NAAM). Disability and Autism Services of Indiana (DASI Kids) is proud to support Autism Awareness and give back to the community. DASI Kids has pledged to walk 5 million steps throughout the month of April in honor of Autism Awareness. For each 1 million steps, DASI Kids will donate $1,000 to the proposed Greensburg Inclusion Park. A Greensburg Inclusion Park will greatly benefit Decatur County and surrounding communities; bringing children with special needs, their peers and their families together.
How can you support Autism Awareness? They invite you to help them reach a goal of 5 million steps and Walk For A Cause. Throughout the month of April, simply track your daily steps and send your steps to walkforacause@dasikids.com.
You can also show your support by purchasing DASI Kids ‘Every Child is an Artist’ apparel. Purchase from the DASI Kids Every Child is an Artist Team Shop and a portion of all proceeds from the team shop will be donated to the Greensburg Inclusion Park.
