Boil Water Advisory at Lake Santee

A boil water advisory has been issued by the Lake Santee Regional Waste and Water District. Utility Manager John Lecher told WTRE news that there had been a water main leak Thursday morning which was repaired by around 1:30 this afternoon. They flushed the lines and have issued the boil water advisory as a precautionary measure. Lecher said to boil drinking and cooking water 1 to 3 minutes. The boil water advisory is in effect until further notice.
