The Decatur County Board of Zoning Appeals met on Wednesday.
Christian Rust is requesting a “Special Exception” to operate year round sales of farm products, in a portable structure, with a sign. This is to place a spot for the sale of their honey products near the end of the driveway. This will be on an honor system and eventually plan to add eggs, meat bird, lamb, and a “pick your own” for blueberries and strawberries. They do have a small area for 1-2 cars to park and are 15’ off the road. There are no neighbor concerns. The property is owned by the petitioner in Greensburg, Washington Township. Petition 2023-10 was approved.
