The Decatur County Community Schools Board of Education held a Special Session meeting on January 17, 2024, at 4:00 pm.
Dr. Jarrod Burns, Superintendent requested the approvals of appointments for Perry Cook, Long term substitute as a Biology Teacher at South Decatur Jr. Sr. High School for the remainder of the semester, and Rebecca Huddleston, SPED Instructional Assistant at North Decatur Elementary School. Both appointments were approved.
Dr. Burns requested approval for the Poole Group to be selected as the Construction Manager for the renovations in the kitchen at both the North Decatur Jr. and Sr. High School and South Decatur Jr.-Sr. High School. Renovations are scheduled to begin in March 2024. The board approved this request.
The next meeting will be held February 14, 2024, at 6:00 pm at Central Office. The meeting was adjourned.
