The Decatur County Council met on Tuesday.
Lisa Hermesch with Champions of Youth came to the board with their 2023 budget request. They are requesting the same amount as last year, $7,200, to pay the rent on their building. COVID has changed the way they operated and instead of doing lunch buddies they now have full time mentors. This year they have 25 new mentors. This was approved to be put under review.
The transfers were approved. The Property tax loss cap was approved.
