The Decatur County Council met on Tuesday.
Beth AmRhein with the 4-H council came to the board to request additional funding. This is for items that the fair board usually takes care of such as judges and ribbons. They would like to know if they could look over and edit the expenses for the 2021 fair year or if they need to start applying for grants. The council informed AmRhein that they had asked for a treasurers report but never received it come budget time. The council suggested they apply for grants and hope for better communication in the future.
All additionals were approved with the exception of one being tabled for more information. All transfers were approved.
The sheriff would like to do a stipend out of commissary near the end of the year. This will have more information at the next meeting.
