Fatal farming accident in Decatur County yesterday. Decatur County Coroner Doug Banks said that 34-year old Adam Holtkamp died as a result of his injuries. Authorities were dispatched to 5163 east county road 400 south shortly after 2 yesterday. Banks said that the accident had occurred earlier in the day as Holtkamp was mixing up the morning feed and his clothing got caught in the power take off of the tractor resulting in the accident.
The Decatur County Coroner’s office, Decatur County Sheriff’s Department and EMS, Greensburg and Napoleon Fire Departments assisted at the scene.
