The voters of Decatur County are hereby notified by the Decatur County Election Board in accordance with Indiana Code 3-10-2-2 that a Primary Election will be held in Decatur County on May 3rd, 2022, with the polls opening for voting from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., prevailing local time.

A new vote center plan that went into effect on 01/01/2022. Register voters within Decatur County have the option to go to any of the eleven (11) above listed vote centers on Election Day, May 3rd, 2022.
Vote center plans do NOT cross county lines so if you are a registered voter of Decatur County you must choose any of the above options to cast your vote.
Please remember you MUST be registered to vote. If you are unsure if you are you can check your status on www.indianavoters.com . If you are not registered you have until Monday, April 4th to register to vote for the May 3rd, 2022 Primary Election.
Early voting is still an option. We will have early voting at the Greensburg City Hall again this year to allow everyone to maintain a safe distance.
Early voting starts on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 8:00 am to 4:00 pm daily. We will have two early voting sites on the last two Saturdays prior to the Election. Those will be announced at a later date.
Absentee applications are currently being accepted for Vote by Mail and forTraveling Board. We will NOT be sending absentee applications out automatically so if you wish to receive one please log onto www.indianavoters.com or email the clerk’s office at voter@decaturcounty.in.gov
