| INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Department of Health today announced that 1,567 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 629,903 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.A total of 9,677 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 65 from the previous day. Another 377 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by the state and occurred over multiple days. Decatur County – 2556 positives (5 new) and 11,010 (9 new) Bartholomew County – 6877 (23 new) and 36, 163 tests (107 new) and 3 more deaths bringing the number to 107 Jennings – 2058 positives (5 new) and 9512 tests (23 new) Franklin County – 1542 positives (4 new) and 5961 tests (16 new) Ripley County adds another death bringing that number to 50. 3104 positives (10 new) and 12,527 tests (24 new) Shelby County – 4365 positives (16 new) and 17,545 tests (37 new) Rush County – 1587 positives and 7352 tests (8 new) To date, 2,968,591 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 2,963,581 on Monday.
