Warming Stations for this weekend

From Washington Township Trustee Beverly Rivera.

These are for anyone who needs to have a warm and safe place to stay.  The facilities and volunteers have offered their time and space to help others.  We appreciate each one and hope anyone who needs a place to go will show up!

Friday, January 19 – no specific shelter is available just yet, but we will help anyone on an individual basis..    We are working to secure a place for tonight or Saturday night.  We do have some options I can share individually if we do not get a public shelter.

Saturday, January 20    1pm-5pm
FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH 202 N. Franklin Street, Greensburg
Enter the Washington Street doors and go downstairs.

Sunday, January 21    3 pm- 7 am on Monday, January 22.
FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH 425 N. Broadway, Greensburg
Enter the main doors of the Family Life Center and go right into the gym.
THIS IS AN OVERNIGHT SHELTER.

If you have any questions or would like to volunteer or provide services at the shelter, please call me at 812-663-5501.

We are also looking for anyone who would like to offer their building or volunteer for shelters in the remaining weeks of winter.  Contact me if you are interested.

Thank you,
Beverly Rivera
Washington Township Trustee
