The Greensburg Lady Pirates dominated the Volleyball court over Rushville for three games;
Greensburg picked up their first conference win defeating Rushville 25-9, 25-5, 25-18. Strong serving came from Jenna Foster who was 23-23, Josie Nobbe, 18-20 with 2 aces, and Mya Comer 12-12 with 2 aces. At the net, Ella Chapman put down 12 kills, followed by Josie Nobbe with 7, and Carlee Adams with 4. Leah West, Claire Nobbe, and Janae Comer each had 3 kills as well. Setting us well were Mya Comer who put up 11 assists and Jenna Foster, 9. Defensively, we were active in the back row. Abigail Hoeing, Josie Nobbe, Mya Comer, Janae Comer, Jenna Foster, and Tina Fogg were all strong tonight and our front row, Ella Chapman, Claire Nobbe, Carlee Adams, Leah West, Josie Nobbe, and Janae Comer owned with net with 9 team blocks. Our focus tonight was to be efficient and for the most part we were. We lapsed a couple times throughout the match, but quickly got back on track. That makes us 11-0 on the season and 1-0 in the EIAC.
