Decatur County adds 31 new positives today

HEALTH DEPARTMENT UPDATES STATEWIDE COVID-19 CASE COUNTS

INDIANAPOLIS The Indiana Department of Health today announced that 3,756 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 191,764 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous days dashboard.

A total of 4,224 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 25 from the previous day. Another 240 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by the state and occurred over multiple days.

Decatur County has 31 new positives bringing the number to 673. 60 newly tested bringing that number to 6076.

Jennings – 472 positives (5 new) and 4834 tested (28 new)
Shelby County has had 2 new residents die from COVID-19. 1099 positives (45 new) and 9676 tested (101 new)
Rush – 321 positives (6 new) and 3882 tested (38 new)
Bartholomew County – 1685 poairicwa (29 new) and 21,2020 tested (180 new)
Ripley – 615 positives (27 new) and 6653 tested (85 new)
Franklin – 421 positives (4 new) and 3139 tested (31 new)

To date, 1,748,496 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 1,733,575 on Tuesday. A total of 3,032,762 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb
