The Decatur County Area Plan Commission met on Wednesday.
The APC held their election for their 2022 officers. The President is Brad Schutte, the Vice President is Paul Stone, and the Secretary Is Todd Mauer.
The APC appointed Brad Schutte to the BZA board for 2022.
Jacob Mattox requested to subdivide 2.99 acres out of 98.56 acres and rezone that 2.99 acres from an A-1 to an A-2 zoning classification for a single family detached dwelling. They hope to purchase the farm one day in their future and raise their family there. The home would be situated in the Northwest corner and will have well water. The property is owned by Gregg Mattox in Greensburg, Jackson Township. Petition 2022-01 was approved.
Jason and Kerri Meyer requested to subdivide 2.99 acres out of 35.964 acres and rezone that 2.99 acres from an A-1 to an A-2 zoning classification for a single family detached dwelling. This is family property that has been split up between siblings. Plan to keep it mostly farmland other than what will have the home and will have well water. The property is owned by the petitioner in Greensburg, Fugit Township. Petition 2022-02 was approved.
