Decatur County Board of Zoning Appeals

The Decatur County Board of Zoning Appeals met on Wednesday.

BZA Petition 2022-1 for Nutrien was tabled.

Kennedy Holdings Group / Shane Kennedy requested a “Variance” in a B-2 zoning classification from the required front setback of 30’ to be a front setback of 7’ to build an

A-frame over entrance. The company is growing and because of the BZA they have been able to do so. They would like to take their company to the next level and improve the exterior to reflect the good happening on the interior. They plan to get rid of the parking in the front altogether both for safety reasons and to improve the overall looks of the building. The property is owned by the petitioner in Greensburg, Salt Creek Township. Petition 2022-6 was approved.

Petition 2022-7 for Open Road Renewable LLC / Ice Miller LLP was tabled.
