Greensburg Police Department Pursuits in 2024

News Release from Greensburg Police

Greensburg, IN — Officers from the Greensburg Police Department have initiated several pursuits of
motor vehicles in the last three months. The pursuits were initiated in other locations and have
resulted in the arrests of five different individuals. All five individuals have been given initial hearings
and are awaiting the next steps in their judicial process.
Arrests:
Chance Rager (28) of Oshkosh, Nebraska
Sultan Singh (41) of Greenwood, Indiana
Josiah Taylor (18) of Greensburg, Indiana
David Davidson II (45) of Indianapolis, Indiana
Bryce Bower (28) of Greensburg, Indiana
There are a variety of charges pending as a result of these arrests, including allegations of Resisting Law Enforcement causing serious bodily injury, Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Resisting Law Enforcement, Operating while Intoxicated while Endangering, Reckless Driving, Criminal Mischief, Driving While Suspended Prior, False Identity Statement, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia and Warrants. (REPORT DID NOT SPECIFY WHICH OF THE CHARGES WENT WITH WHICH ACCUSED INDIVIDIAL)
The Officers of Greensburg Police Department are steadfast in protecting the citizens of the
Greensburg community from all criminal behavior and continue to enforce the laws of the State of
Indiana.
We would like to thank the following agencies who assisted in these apprehensions: Decatur County
Sheriff’s Dept., Indiana State Police, Columbus Police Dept. Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Dept.
Batesville Police Dept., and Decatur County Communications.
Under Indiana Law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendants are presumed to be
innocent unless, and until they are proven guilty in a court of Law.
