By IHSAA rule, JCD will be the designated home team and will wear light uniforms. North Decatur will be the designated visiting team and will wear dark uniforms.
Thursday’s schedule — North Decatur vs Jac-Cen-Del 6 p.m. game time
4:45 p.m. both teams can begin their warm-up period
– JCD on Diamond #4
– ND on Diamond #1
5:00 p.m. Gates will open to spectators ($7 per person)
5:15 p.m. both teams can enter their dugout on Diamond #3
– JCD will be in 1st base dugout
– North Decatur will be in 3rd base dugout
5:30 p.m. – JCD gets 10 minutes of infield
5:42 p.m. – ND gets 10 minutes of infield
5:52 p.m. – lineup exchange
5:55 p.m. – introduction of starting lineups
5:58 p.m. – National Anthem
6:00 p.m. – play ball
Following the conclusion of the game the winning team will be presented with the championship trophy and a game ball. The second-place team will be presented with a game ball.
The winner will play at the winner of the Edinburgh Sectional #59 on Tuesday, May 30th.
