No injuries in accident involving school bus in Bartholomew County


On May 13, 2021, approximately 7: a.m., Bartholomew County Sheriff’s deputies responded to
the 3600 block of N 250 W in reference to a two vehicle accident involving a school bus with
eight juveniles on board.
On arrival, deputies observed minor damage to both vehicles. There were no injuries to anyone
involved in the accident. However, as a precautionary measure, Columbus Regional Hospital
EMS checked all eight students.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
“I am certainly happy that no one, especially none of the children, were not injured in this
accident”, said Bartholomew County Sheriff Matthew A. Myers.
