Greensburg Redevelopment Commission

The Greensburg Redevelopment Commission Met on Thursday.

City Engineer Ron May discussed the residential development project. They are hoping to get the platting process done this winter so that they can be ready in the spring to begin construction on infrastructure.

Kristen Williams invited the board to the Pirate Park ribbon cutting on October 19. RDC member Darell Poling agreed to speak as a representative of the board at the ceremony.

City Engineer Ron May discussed the creation of a new TIF area. This is to help the city make improvements to the downtown and surrounding area, as there will be several properties there that will soon significantly increase their property values. This resolution is the first legal step in an intricate process. This was approved.

An additional appropriation of $500,000 was approved. The claims were approved.
