The Decatur County Board of Zoning Appeals met on Wednesday.
James Doll requested a conditional use to process meat in a detached structure on his property. The meat would include deer, hogs, and beef as there is a high demand for the processing. All hogs and beef will be slaughtered on the farmers property. This will not be a full time job, just on the side and the neighbors have no problems with this. The property is owned by the petitioner in Greensburg, Washington Township. Petition 2020-20 was approved.
