| INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Department of Health today announced that 2,756 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 595,436 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.A total of 9,092 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 126 from the previous day. Another 374 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by the state and occurred over multiple days. Decatur County has 2434 positives (6 new) and 10,520 tests (21 new) Bartholomew County adds two deaths bringing that number to 96. 6310 positives (17 new) and 34,447 tested (95 new) Shelby County adds a death bringing the number of Shelby County residents who have died to 80. 4056 positives (15 new) and 16,827 tests (38 new) Jennings County – 1939 positives (7 new) and 9125 tests (38 new) Ripley County – 2943 positives (6 new) and 12,054 tests (25 new) Franklin County – 1444 positives (6 new) and 5658 tests (26 new) Rush County – 1516 positives (9 new) and 7047 tests (21 new) To date, 2,847,632 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 2,839,505 on Monday.
