Westport Kiwanis canceled their breakfast this morning because of the outage.
This is the information from Decatur County Emergency Management Director Brad Speer from 2:30 this morning.
Storms last night started around midnight, Westport area has seen the worst of it. There are roads completely blocked by trees and power lines in that area.
There were some trees down over most of the county as well. There was a report of a tree on a house in Greensburg,
Currently no injuries reported and only minor residential damage reported.
There are nearly 1300 with out power being reported as of 2:30 am.
Fire, Law, EMS, County Highway, Street Department, and others continue to work to clear roads and notify the power companies as they find or get reports of additional damage.
Another round of storms hit around 3 AM.
Severe storms will be possible again Saturday afternoon and night. Damaging winds will be the primary threat, but again, all hazards will be possible.
