Monday, August 7, 2023 Monday evening the North Decatur girls golf team had their first home match at North Brantch on Bridge. The Chargers faced Eastern Hancock and Union and placed 2nd overall with a team score of 233. Union won the match with 228 and and Eastern Hancock finished 3rd with 253. The varstiy team was led by Addie Gauck with a score of 50 followed by Kaylee Smith with 56, Hannah Reynolds with 63, and Lizzie Custer with 64. Chase Christianson also competed and shot 69. Four golfers also played JV Monday evening. Mary Stier (67), Ellie Grote (67), Jaylynne Krahn (69), and Kail’C Ruble (63). Next up the Chargers face conference opponents Southwestern and Edinburgh on Thursday. |
