The North Decatur C-Team’s first game of the season was at home on Thursday against the Greensburg Pirates. The team got off to a slow start in the first half, scoring only 4 points, 2 from Simon Barber and 2 from Henry Kinker. The Chargers also had trouble stoping the Pirates, coming in to half time with a 24-4 deficit. The second half went much better for the Chargers, but they still couldn’t close the gap. Kinker put up 5 points in the third quarter to go along with 2 points each from Kipton Ruf and Harper Gunn. In the fourth quarter, Clayton ruf rattled in a 3 and hit a layup, while Aiden Luttel and Caleb May also hit a 3-pointer a piece. The game ended with the Chargers falling 40-24. The Charger next game is a home contest against Batesville at 10:00am on Saturday, December 7th.
