INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs (IDVA) is thrilled to announce the allocation of $1,140,000.00 in grants for the Fiscal Year 2026 to five distinguished Veteran Service Organizations (VSOs) across Indiana. These funds will support a wide array of critical services for the veteran community in the state.
Jake Adams, Director of IDVA, highlighted the importance of these partnerships, stating, “Indiana’s VSOs provide invaluable services that enhance IDVA’s mission of supporting our veterans. These grants empower each organization to tackle specific service needs within our community, ensuring our veterans receive the care and assistance they deserve.”
The grants have been awarded as follows:
- The American Legion: $295,221.65
- American Veterans (AMVETS): $181,136.77
- Disabled American Veterans (DAV): $239,970.76
- Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW): $255,270.82
- Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA): $168,400.00
