Decatur County Council

The meeting began with the review of July 15 Minutes & July 31 Executive Session minutes.

The council heard from representatives from the Greensburg Bread of Life, Children’s Advocacy Center, and Lifetime Resources were the agencies presented their budget requests for 2026.

Nathan Stoermer, 911 Board Chairman received approval for the county to pay the Motorola contract amount and then request reimbursement from the city for each payment.

Sheriff Bill Meyerrose received approval to purchase a replacement camera for the Detention Center and medical monitoring sensors for the Detention Center that will be paid for out of the Jail Special Purpose Tax.

Chris Noblitt, Parks Department received approval to move staff up from Maintenance three to two, and another from Maintenance two to one.

The Council approved the salary ordinance changes that were submitted.

The council approved all additions and transfers.
