The Greensburg Pirates hosted the Shelbyville Golden Bears in game one of the season. The Pirates were first to score early in the first quarter. The Bears were able to score twice in the second taking the lead from the Pirates. Greensburg tied the score up early in the third but couldn’t hold the Bears 27-14 at the end of three. The fourth quarter gave the Bears the win they wanted after scoring to lead by 20. Final Score Shelbyville 34 Greensburg 14.
Greensburg will play at home again Friday August 29 at 7pm against Greenfield Central.
