Greensburg Junior High competed in their second xc meet Saturday morning at the Lou Knoble Invitational in Madison, IN. The girls team finished 4th out of 7 teams, with the boys taking 6th.
Leading the Pirates was Maria Scholle with a 3rd place finish in 12:05. Hadley Davis placed 5th with a new PR of 12:40. Also for the Pirates, Ava Doig ran 15:48, Hayden Saylor ran a new PR of 15:57, Isabelle Macku ran a PR of 17:28, Sarita Walker ran a PR of 17:32, and Violet Macku ran a PR of 17:49.
Kason Bedel led the Pirates in the boys’ race, finishing in 18th place with a time of 12:50. Next was Miles Gill running a new PR of 13:28 to take 25th place. Also for the Pirates were Luke Harris running 13:50, Liam Hernandez running 14:14, Easton Character running a PR of 14:18, Collin Rich with a PR of 15:16, Konnor Luers with a PR of 15:31, and Rylan Herpel running a 21:24 PR.
