Despite the threat of snow in the area, North Decatur Elementary School hosted a wonderful Christmas program on Monday evening. Grades 1 and 2 opened the evening followed by Grades 3 and 4 for the second program. The festive program, directed by Mrs. Carrie Stier, brought many old and new favorite songs to life and spotlighted several students with individual speaking parts.
Students Olivia Bedel and Jonah Barber played piano solos to entertain the audience at the opening of the 3rd and 4th grade program.
The excitement of the holidays was intensified as the program ended and the audience was greeted with the beginning flakes of what would be an Indiana Winter Weather event.
