WTRE reached out to Greensburg Fire Department Chief Nathan Stoermer to follow up on the fire in a barn that occurred late last night.
Chief Stoermer stated that the barn was fully involved upon the arrival of fire department personnel. Firefighters from three departments were able to contain the fire and stop it from spreading into the cornfield.
The barn contained hay is and was expected to smolder for some time.
