On February 2nd at 6 PM the Decatur County Soil & Water Conservation District held their 62nd annual meeting at the Knights of St. John’s. Awards were given including Scott Smith winning Conservation Farmer of the Year, SG company group winning River Friendly Farmer of the Year, and Stephanie Westbrook winning the Friend of Conversation award. Additionally, elections were held for the director position, Ben McCoy was elected and sworn in for office. Denny Barker provided entertainment.
