The Community Healthcare Clinic of Decatur County (CHC) is excited to announce the addition of mental health services. The CHC was a fortunate recipient of grant funding from the Decatur County Community Foundation’s Mental Health grant. With grant funding, the CHC will now offer specific mental health clinics. We are excited to announce that our first clinic serving mental health concerns will be held on Monday, April 6 beginning at 6pm to 8pm. The CHC is located in the Rural King Plaza.

Dr. Mary McCullough has served in the capacity of medical director for many years at the CHC. Dr. McCullough, along with Nurse Practitioners Lindsay Jobe and Emily Verseman will be serving to help those in need. Desirae Moore, LCSW of the CIT team in Decatur County will assist in providing support such as resources and extensive treatment plan placement. Felicia Wickey, MA, will be orchestrating schedules and assisting with in-house resources. As a community, we have wrapped our arms around working to combat the stigma of mental health and provide local resources to help those in need.

As we approach our first clinic date to serve those with mental health concerns, we can not go without expressing our gratitude. What began as a dream in the spring of 2025 for Executive Director, Emily Verseman and Administrative Assistant, Felicia Wickey, is coming to fruition for a community that we love to serve.
