Greensburg, Ind. — On the morning of Monday, April 27, 2026 at approximately 4:00 A.M. the Greensburg Police Responded to the address of 1008 East North Street in Greensburg, Indiana for the report of a male that had been injured by a gun shot.
Investigative information and evidence provided that Gregory D. Trimble, 22, of Greencastle, Indiana had came to the victim’s house where a physical altercation ensued and as a result, the victim was shot.
The Greensburg Police Criminal Investigations Unit diligently pursued all available evidence and leads in this investigation. With the assistance of other law enforcement agencies, Gregory Trimble was placed in custody mid-morning on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Trimble was located and arrested in Kentucky where he had an additional warrant for his arrest.
