The Pirates came away with a really nice win against Jennings County 5-0. First off the court was 3 singles player Brody Sanders playing very well and defeating his opponent 6-0, 6-0. Soon after that our 2 doubles team of Max Buening and Jackson Phillips handily won their match 6-1, 6-1. The next three spots were hard fought and we were able to take all three remaining points. #2 singles player Will Weber won 7-5, 6-3 and then our 1 doubles duo of Logan Fisse and Luke Schwering came from behind to win 3-6, 6-2, 10-6 in a super tiebreaker. Our final point came from 1 singles player Mason McNulty who battled from beginning by to end winning 3-6, 6-1, 7-5.
In JV action, Jonah Wheat was defeated 6-8 and our doubles team of Simeon Wheat and Rylan Kraushar won 8-1. Tonight was a solid win for the boys. We are now 3-1 and head to Madison tomorrow.
