MOTORCYCLE RIDER INJURED IN CRASH
On August 5th, 2021 at 11:36 pm, deputies with the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle motorcycle crash in the area of 500 E and 200 N in Butlerville. Over the course of the investigation, deputies determined that the rider, Zachery Box (age 25 of Westport), was traveling Westbound on County Road 200 N near 500 E when the motorcycle he was riding left the roadway. Zachery was airlifted by Stat-flight to an Indianapolis hospital for treatment. Deputies have determined that speed and alcohol were both factors in the crash.
