GIRLS VARSITY VOLLEYBALL North Decatur High School Girls Varsity Volleyball beat Rising Sun Invitational 2-0 The Varsity team brought home the trophy from the Rising Sun tourney this weekend! Lady Chargers won in 2 against both Switzerland County and Rising Sun. Our serving game was strong for the day, Sami Luttel had 7 aces, Hannah Gorrell had 5, Madelyn Bohman 4, and Caroline Kennelly had 3 aces! Caroline Stapp had 19 kills, Bohman contributed with 11, Luttel had 7 kills, Madi Allen and Aubrey Kennelly both had 6 kills and Ella Kunz had 4. The team worked well together on defense, Luttel had 9 digs, Aubrey Kennelly picked up 7 and Stapp, Bohman and Caroline Kennelly all picked up 6. It was a great way to end the week and head into their last week of season before sectional week! The JV team landed in second place at the tournament. Falling to Rising sun after taking them to 3 games. They then came back to beat Switzerland County in 2. Lady Chargers take on Southwestern Shelby Monday night at home! JV starts at 5:30pm |
