Chad Allen Moore, 47, of Greensburg, passed away at 10:06 P.M. on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at his residence. He was born on February 19, 1974 in Rushville, the son of Michael Moore and Kim (McDonald) Allen. He was born and raised in Rushville and had lived the majority of his life in Decatur County.
He was a heavy machine operator at Best Way Disposal for over 20 years. He was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Greensburg. Chad enjoyed fishing, music, visiting mountains and beaches and spending time with his family and friends. He married Christy Murray on April 23, 2005 in Greensburg, and she survives. Other survivors include his mother, Kim (Arnold) Allen of Greensburg; daughter, Addison Moore and son, Ethan Moore both of Greensburg; sister, Amanda (Jamie) Schiff of Holton and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Moore and father-in-law, Ed Murray. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Greensburg with Pastor Chuck Gerrian officiating. Burial will follow at the Rockcreek Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, November 2 from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 1:00 P.M. at the church.
