Find something that you think is a Decatur County Treasure. Capture that treasure in a photo and then share it with us and tell us why you believe it’s a treasure.
Contestants will photograph and submit up to 2 photos of something or somewhere that they consider a Decatur County Treasure. Photos must have been taken no more than 1 year ago and must be taken by the person entering the photo into the contest. Of course, the photo must be taken in Decatur County.
There will be four age categories – Youth up to 7, youth ages 8-12, teen ages 13-18, adults ages 19 and up. There will be first, second and third-place prize in each category.
Contestants can submit their photos to gdcplphotocontest@gmail.com in JPG format. Include your name, age (if teen or youth), contact phone number and why you think this is a treasure. Parent or Guardians may send children’s entries through an adult’s email.
The contest runs from May 1st – May 31st, 2022, and the deadline for photos is June 1, 2022, at the close of business.
