Heavy trash is picked up on the same day as trash pick up. Heavy trash pick-up is for Greensburg residents who receive city trash pick-up and are on a city trash route.
Residents are reminded to put heavy trash out on the curb one-two days before pick up. Additionally, there are certain items that are not permitted in heavy trash– those items are listed below. Heavy Trash violations will result in no pick up and trash will be tagged.
All small items must be bagged, and bags must weigh under 40 pounds. Any non-city containers must weigh less than 40 pounds. Containers and contents over 40 pounds will be disposed of entirely.
