Registration begins at 10 am at the Decatur County Fairgrounds Farm and Home Building Located at 1635 W Park Rd, Greensburg, IN 47240. Friends of the Greensburg & Decatur County Animal Shelter board has been working along with Shelter Staff to plan an amazing scenic route through Decatur County! There will be fun stops, raffles, 50/50, and yummy meal at Links at the end followed by Karaoke by Dj Chris.
This ride is in honor of our Late Director Melinda Myers whose dream was to see a new facility for our shelter pets and staff. All Proceeds will go directly to furnishing the inside of the building.
The Decatur County Commissioners are leading and developing a plan for new construction on a building that will better serve homeless pets in our community at a different location. The building is funded and managed by the County, but the Friends of is raising the funds to equip a new shelter with furnishing and amenities needed to make a welcome and functional space for animals, staff, and volunteers.
