Morgan Straber is the recipient of the 2026 Tree County Players President’s Award.
Each year, Tree County Players presents the President’s Award to a member who goes above and beyond in sharing their talent, time, and passion to help our organization thrive. This year, we are proud to recognize Morgan for her outstanding dedication and service to TCP.
Morgan currently serves as the Theatre Manager, a role focused on the day-to-day operations and logistics that keep our creative space running smoothly and make our productions possible. Since stepping into this position, she has done an exceptional job collaborating with the Board of Directors, helping guide the organization forward, and bringing fresh ideas that continue to strengthen and grow our theatre.
In addition to her leadership behind the scenes, Morgan has been a familiar face on our stage. Most recently, she performed as Florence in The Play That Goes Wrong, a vocalist in Heroes and Villains: A Broadway Musical Revue, and Dracula in Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors. She has also directed several productions in recent years, including Dear Edwina JR., Raise Your Voice, and Dreams in the Spotlight: A Young Adult Broadway Revue.
Morgan’s impact extends beyond our productions. For the past three years, she has led Tree County Players’ annual Youth Theatre Camp, sharing her knowledge, creativity, and passion for theatre with young performers throughout our community. Her commitment to nurturing the next generation of artists has made a lasting difference in the lives of many young people.
Morgan’s dedication, leadership, creativity, and willingness to serve wherever needed have helped Tree County Players continue to grow and succeed. We are grateful for all she does and are honored to recognize her with this year’s President’s Award.
