Letts Fire Department Post and Picture

At approximately 01:52 Decatur County Communications dispatched DCEMS, Letts Fire and Westport Fire for a reported structure fire on 1280 South. Westport promptly requested Marion Township for water and manpower.
LFD units Tanker 444, Tanker 440 and Utility 462 responded. The fire was extinguished and all units went back in service.
The occupants of the home were awoken by alarming smoke detectors, smoke detectors do save lives and this is a great example!
