On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, Robert D Ogle, 68 years of age, was arrested by deputies
of the Decatur County Sheriff’s Dept. on a charge of Child Solicitation as a Level 5
Felony.
This arrest is the result of a nearly ten-month-long investigation led by Det. Ally Sullivan
of the Decatur County Sheriff’s Dept. During the investigation, Ogle is alleged to have
communicated through social media numerous times with a female he believed to be
older than 14 years of age but younger than 16 years of age, with the communication
soliciting the female to engage in some form of sexual conduct.
Ogle was incarcerated at the Decatur County Detention Center without incident. The
investigation is continuing.
Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendants are presumed
to be innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in a court of law.
