Letts Fire Department Post
Thursday evening at approximately 6:45 Decatur County Communications received a report of a Structure Fire near Forrest Hill. Letts Ladder 450 arrived on scene to find a detached garage with light smoke showing. Upon investigation it was found the home owner was burning brush and the fire became out of hand spreading across the yard and got into the wall of the garage. The fire was extingshued quickly and all units were disregarded, Letts Fire was assisted by Westport Fire, Decatur County Sheriffs Department, DCEMS, and Milhousen Fire.
In addition to this incident Thursday, Letts Fire responded mutual aid per request of Greensburg Fire for a brush fire, and a private call for a tree fire.
