Mary Lou Davis has retired! Napoleon State Bank’s Mary Lou Davis has retired after 18 years of service with NSB and a total of 41 years in the Banking Industry. On Friday, January 16th, Mary Lou closed her last file folder and put her pen away as she left Napoleon State Bank on N. Lincoln St. in Greensburg for the last time.

A well known and loved member of the Greensburg and Decatur County community, Mary Lou has built a strong relationship with hundreds of people over the years, not only through her position at Napoleon State Bank, but also through her commitment to many non profit organizations, committee seats and volunteer activities.

Mary Lou’s banking career began with Decatur County Bank in 1985 in the bookkeeping department and proceeded to a Teller position, within that year became Head Teller and then moved on to Office Manager. In 2007, Mary Lou left this position and began her new position at Napoleon State Bank where she felt her career focus was met by being able to help people with their financial needs and improving and encouraging their future.

Mary Lou’s volunteer service began early by serving as Treasurer for Mt. Pleasant Church- the stepping stone to her years of banking service. This also kicked off a lifelong love of volunteering for her community. She has been very active throughout the years in Big Brother Big Sisters, the DCMH Hospital Foundation Board, GB Bread of Life, Tree City Fall Festival, Decatur County Fair Committee, Board of Directors for September Place, as well as her Church and many other activities.

Mary Lou looks forward in her retirement spending time following her heart, giving and serving her friends, family and community, catching up with friends and enjoying time at home. Mary Lou smiles as she shares that God has given her a huge heart and she knows he has a plan for her future.
