At the City of Greensburg Board of Aviation meeting, members approved the previous month’s meeting minutes, financial report, and the agenda for the current meeting.
The board reported that its loan with Jackson County Bank has been reduced to less than $30,000.
Members also approved a two-year farming contract with Jay Hatton at a rate of $125 per acre per year for 55 acres.
City officials noted they are currently obtaining quotes to add tiling to the property.
Airport Managers Jerry Scheidler and Gary Bailey reported there are currently nine individuals on the waiting list and discussed recent snow plowing efforts at the airport.
Dr. Jon Dooley and Mayor Joshua Marsh took time during the meeting to recognize and thank Jerry Scheidler for his years of dedication and accomplishments as Airport Manager.
The meeting concluded with approval of the board’s claims and payment of bills.
