Zach Wirrig presented an offer of $15,000 for 1.5 acres of land located on Veterans Way. The offer was submitted by Performance & Suspension Plus, a local company specializing in suspension and performance work. The owner stated that approximately 40% of their business comes from in-town customers, with the remainder serving out-of-town clients. The company is currently located on Barachel Lane and is seeking to expand its operations, including the addition of two retail spaces.
The commission vote on the offer resulted in a tie. Attorney Chris Stephen read the applicable state code, which states that in the event of a tie vote, the motion fails.
Amy Borns, Greensburg Clerk-Treasurer, received approval to consolidate several accounts that had remained unused for an extended period.
The commission approved $4,862 in claims.
