To address the community’s needs, DCMH developed accessible online registration forms, enabling patients to
requestappointmentsatanytimeandfromanylocation—nophonecallrequired.Thisinnovativeapproach
eliminates a common barrier for younger generations and ensures a more inclusive experience for all patients,
regardless of their comfort level with traditional scheduling methods.
DCMHFamilyHealthcareProvidersactivelyencouragetheadoptionofdigitaltoolslikethePatientPortal,as
they enhance the patient experience and align with what patients seek. Through the portal, users can schedule
appointments,manageappointments,accesshealthrecords,reviewtestresults,andcommunicatedirectly
with their providers. Expanding features and promoting the portal’s adoption are key priorities, enabling
patients to make informed decisions about their health on their own terms.
