The Decatur County Area Plan Commission met on Monday.
Maurice Jordan with Nutrien Ag requested to “Rezone” approx. 11.21 acres from an A-1 to an I-1 zoning classification for Business Expansion. They recently purchased more property and would like it all to be zoned properly. This was at the recommendation of the county surveyor. The property is located in Greensburg, Washington Township. Petition 2022-17 was approved.
Kyle McLeod requested to “Subdivide” approx. 16.446 acres into three parcels and “Rezone”
approx. 2.99 acres on each parcel from an A-1 to an A-2 zoning classification for construction of a single family detached dwelling on each parcel. They want to divide into three lots so that he and 2 of his children can build a home on each lot. The driveway would split between the 3 properties. The property is located in Westport, Jackson Township. Petition 2022-18 was approved.
