The Decatur County Community Schools Board of Education met on Wednesday.
There was a public hearing on the 2022 budget, capital projects fund, and bus replacement plan. This is the proposed budget which was presented to the board on August 11. All plans required to be posted have been on the Gateway website for the public. There was a request that the PTO does not pay for an online program that they have been for the past several years. They would like it to be put in the budget, not gotten rid of. They would however like the SCL program to be gotten rid of.
