Greensburg, IN – The Decatur County Central Committee is proud to announce the appointment of John Pratt as the new County Chair. A dedicated public servant, John is a retired school teacher, local historian, and accomplished author, bringing a wealth of knowledge and an unwavering passion for community engagement to this pivotal role.
In his new position, John aims to prioritize two key initiatives: “Reengaging the base and fielding candidates for all local races,” he stated. “It is essential to provide choices in a democratic system, and we hope to empower the citizens of Decatur County with a diverse slate of options at the ballot box.”
A lifelong resident of Greensburg, John resides with his wife, Jill, and their two daughters. His deep-rooted connection to the community uniquely positions him to lead efforts that resonate with the values and aspirations of local residents.
Ryan Maddux, treasurer of the Central Committee, expressed his enthusiasm for John’s leadership. “We are thrilled to have John step into this vital role. He will continue to build upon the strong foundation established by our previous leadership team.
